Assistant Artist Manager (Freelance)

Location: Fully remote working - in Europe

Tiben Artists is a Paris-based artist management agency representing a handpicked roster of internationally acclaimed singers, conductors, and ensembles. We work closely with concert and opera presenters across Europe to support the careers of our artists with clarity, care, and dedication.

We are looking for a freelance Assistant Artist Manager to grow our international team.
This is a varied and rewarding role, offering insight into the inner workings of international artist management and the chance to grow alongside a young agency with an already established network.

Your role

You will support the Artist Manager in the day-to-day management of the artists and their engagements. Tasks include:

– Coordinating logistics and productional planning (travel, accommodation, rehearsal schedules)
– Preparing and tracking contracts and invoices
– Maintaining artist calendars and engagement records
– Supporting communication with artists and presenters across Europe
– Drafting or updating promotion materials and schedules
– Handling correspondence in various languages
– Occasional attendance of performances

Your profile

You are organised, proactive, and quick on your feet, someone who thrives in a fast-moving, detail-driven environment. You have:

– A sharp mind, strong communication skills, and a sense of diplomacy
– A resilient, stress-tolerant personality, with enthusiasm for the variety this role offers
– A genuine interest in people, culture, and artistic life
– Several years of experience as an assistant and/or in office management
– Knowledge of classical music or the performing arts
– A flair for organisation, a sense of responsibility, and team spirit
– Fluency in English and French or Spanish - any additional languages are a plus
Good IT skills (Google Workspace, Excel; basic design tools a plus)
– A smart appearance, reliability, and precision in your work
– Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends when needed
